Title: Fit To be Tied (Bucklin Family Reunion Series #2)

Author: Debby Mayne

Publisher: Gilead Publishing

Publication Date: 2018

Format: Paperback

Length: 285 pages

OVERVIEW

It’s only been four months since the last time the Bucklin family got together, but Sara and Sally’s mother has decided it’s time for them to get together again. In the days leading up to the reunion, Sally’s marriage goes through interesting new changes, Sara thinks she’s found love, and other cousins get into their share of shenanigans.

Mayne chooses to tell the story through the eyes of multiple Bucklin family members, telling each new chapter from one of their perspectives. Since she uses five or six family members to tell the story and most of them sound almost the same, this makes it hard to follow the plot. However, the plot’s simple enough that doesn’t present a big problem. In fact, the plot always resolves conflicts so quickly that the book doesn’t really develop any dramatic tension. Still, romance or family comedy fans will likely enjoy the book’s amusing writing style and cute dialogue.
