OVERVIEW:
This is a lovely story of well-known German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his young fiancée during the time of their meeting and engagement. If you know the story of Bonhoeffer, you will know he was imprisoned, never to be released and marry Maria Von Wedemeyer. But despite many roadblocks to their love, they remained true during this so very difficult time, trusting in each other and also in their faith and belief in God.
The writing itself is beautiful and the story is very endearing, one you will read and then mull over, considering the many aspects of it.
