OVERVIEW

This is a thriller that mimics many television programs with murder, betrayal, unknown assailants, and a search for the truth. Investigative journalist Jack Logan has been sworn to protect Taylor Phillips, now the widow of murdered Malcolm Phillips, US Senator. Taylor is also Jack’s former love and really the only woman he has ever loved. She is pregnant and this complicates matters as their hunt takes them to the Institute, a facility shrouded in mystery. No one really knows what goes on there only that it has ties to some of America’s power players.

The Institute and its leader Damon Crosse are inherently evil and this depravity is shown in torture tactics as well as mind games. The book contains twists and turns including one at the very end of the book. There is a strong Christian message as well as the basic message of good versus evil.
