OVERVIEW

Did you know that a fatal injection of snake venom is very difficult to trace in a victim? The killer on a rampage in Galveston knows this and is using it as his murder weapon of choice.  A gang, the Venenos, seems to be behind these murders and FBI agents Jon Colbert and Leah Riesel team up to find out who is responsible for the killings.  Colbert and Riesel have not been paired up to work together before and snipers really depend on their partners so there is some hesitation on both sides. But the duo seems to mesh pretty quickly and there is a small hint of romance in the book as well.

An interesting story, lots of investigation, plenty of action and a mystery that will keep you reading. The book is quite dialogue heavy and written in a very matter of fact manner. A strong message of faith with the main church in the story being Catholic.
