Overview:

Thomas Barton lives in Bentonsport, Iowa in 1869. He is a teacher, enjoying the children in his classes but definitely wishing he had someone special in his life. One night shortly before Christmas he is awakened by his pastor, telling him he has had a dream and that Thomas will be transported to modern day Bentonsport for fourteen days. Presposterous? Not when Thomas wakes up in the world of today, more than a hundred years from his own time.

Readers then follow Thomas as he navigates a world so different from his own, meeting a group of wonderful friends and Sarah Peterson, who soon proves to be the love of his life. Now how will this end, how can the author bring it to a satisfying ending?

A lovely, sweet story that romance aficionados will enjoy greatly.
