Overview:

Emily Wierenga, a former anorexic, not only needed her Mum’s bread but she was desperate as well for true religion to take the place of the dry religion she was experiencing. Emily spent her childhood in the Congo and her return to that country was the catalyst that ultimately brought her healing. She invites all who are broken to come to the table and partake in the Bread of Life.

Emily’s writing is very poetic and lyrical-the book begins with a poem written by Wierenga, Table blessing. And each chapter begins with a quote appropriate to the subject of the book.
