Overview:

Charles is a poor farmer in 1883 desperately trying to attain financial security for his family before he must choose his final time crossing path at the age of 25. To do this he enters the rich society of Newport and asks the aid of a fellow time-crosser, Drew. But people are suspicious of him and Drew’s prying sister causes problems that could change his life forever.

In 1563 Lady Cecily and her step brother Charles both work for Queen Elizabeth. Charles and Drew are interestingly friends in both time zones.  Cecily hopes against all hope that her stepbrother will remain with her in 1563. But both Charles and Cecily have to keep their secrets “close to their vests” and keep those secrets from causing their destiny to be one that neither desire.
