Mary Morgan
Mary Morgan is the author the National Parks Mystery series for children. Wait until you find out how she was able to get her first book published! It’s a great story.
Mary says of her talk: This is my story basically, giving an overview of what it takes to create a book and trying encourage listeners to move forward with their own writing if they have a secret passion to try their hand at it. My premise is, if it happened to me, it could happen to them.
Mary calls Lansing, MI, her home, but she has a passion for traveling. She and her family have visited more than forty-five National Parks, exploring and photographing each one. She shares “America’s best idea” with children through facts and mysterious adventures, hoping to create in them a desire to explore the parks for themselves.

Cynthia Ruchti
Cynthia Ruchti is a Christian fiction author who writes for adults Her latest book is Facing the dawn and you won’t want to miss reading it.
Cynthia Ruchti tells stories hemmed-in-Hope through her novels, nonfiction, devotions, and speaking events for women. Her books have garnered industry recognition from readers, reviewers, retailers, and library honors. Her June 2020 release–Afraid of the Light–recently was named a Foreword Reviews finalist, and her March 2021 release–Facing the Dawn–received a PW review and a Library Journal Starred Review. She and her husband live in the heart of Wisconsin not far from their three children and six (to date) grandchildren. Her tagline is “I can’t unravel. I’m hemmed in Hope.” Today she shares from her heart–Doing What We Do As If It Matters.

Chris Jager and Jessica Moore
Even if you cannot meet face to face, book reviews can be shared. Chris and Jessica have a wonderful list of new likes for your to enjoy and to add to your library shelves.
Chris Jager stumbled on the perfect job and over 23 years later is still enjoying working at Baker Book House in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has always been a reader and now shares that love with readers every day. She also loves to spend time with her family and 2 funny dogs.
Jessica started out hating reading, until her mother got her hooked on a series and refused to continue reading them to her. Now she lives and breathes books, working at Baker Book House for 3+ years, reading in every spare moment, and writing her own books.
With a combined 25+ years of experience recommending the perfect book for every season, these two book ladies will talk about their current favorites in the Christian book world. Jessica will be book talking her children’s Christian books and Chris will be book talking adult Christian fiction.
