OVERVIEW

If changing your life was as simple as changing your habits from bad to good, would you do it? Choose to Win is a guide for changing your life in seven areas in order to bring your life from where it is to the best life you can imagine and the life you want. By changing your habits in your mental, spiritual, physical, family, financial, and personal lives, and in your career, Ziglar claims you can transform your life from what it is to what you want.

Before he gets into the how of changing your life, he starts by making sure you know why you want to change your life. He then discusses what it takes to create a plan, how to set goals, and what it means to live with desire, hope, and grit (A.K.A. what you want, what you hope for, and how much effort you apply into getting the previous two things).

Next, he breaks down the seven areas of your life to allow you the best chance to have practical takeaways in every area, ending each chapter with a section of guided journaling questions. Finally, he discusses how and when to start applying what you’ve learned throughout the book.
