OVERVIEW

The O in Hope was originally written for adults but this is an adaptation penned for children. The author  is making an abstract idea into one more easily understood by young readers. Each page has an illustration done in cut-paper art of a round object with only a few words to describe it. Children are encouraged to find the o’s and parents are provided with an author’s note at the conclusion giving suggestions for further interaction between parent and child about the content of the book.

The art work is very appealing and young children will enthusiastically look for each o on the page. The loving heart of God is the last o, right in the center of God!
