Format:

Hardcover

Length:

226 pages

Overview:

Lisa Harper’s 100 day devotional is filled with good news, the good news of God’s faithfulness demonstrated in so many ways to the author throughout her life and particularly in her adoption of her beloved daughter Missy.  Lisa’s writing is sharp and witty and Scripture based, each day beginning with an appropriate verse and finishing with three questions to assist the reader in applying the daily admonition.

The only criticism I have for this book is that several times, in an attempt to be entertaining, the author has a flippant attitude that seems lacking in respect. Other than those instances the book is an encouraging and refreshing devotional.

Rating:

4 out of 5

Suggested audience:

Devotional written particularly for women

Christian impact:

Every page is filled with encouragement in our Christian life.
