Overview:

This author ran away from an intolerable home situation when he was ten years old. He  lived on the streets of Uganda for five years, using his wits to stay alive albeit in a meager existence. Then one man saw his potential and supported Peter throughout his school years, changing his perspective of himself and his life.

Eventually Peter served in many high level relief positions, helping others whose lives in many ways reflected his own previous life. But of greater satisfaction to the author has been fostering children and being an adoptive parent. God has transformed his life, inwardly and outwardly both.

Rating:

5 out of 5

Suggested audience:

Young adults and adults

Christian impact:

Peter’s life is really one beautiful act of God after another and Mutabazi gives God the glory for that.
