Overview:

I loved this book, made me laugh and brought me to tears as well. Eva Gordon is living in Boston with her granddaughter, Breezy. She hates all the busyness of the big city and really only wants to return to her home in Cape Cod, a home that actually doesn’t belong to her anymore. Eva’s failing memory is the reason for her living arrangements and the reason she thinks she could go home again.

When Breezy announces she is getting married, everyone assumes Eva will just move with Breezy to her new place. She is welcome to do that but it’s a bitter pill to swallow. In fact, it is all just too much for Eva.

Eva is a delightful character, in fact the book is filled with delightful characters. The conclusion is a sweet one but not necessarily an expected one. Don’t miss this endearing book!
