Overview:

A fire is very destructive and when St. John’s Episcopal Church is destroyed by fire and the insurance lapsed, what is the congregation to do and particularly the rector, Emmett Hodges? What at first seems to be an insurmountable problem leads to a drastic change in worship and service both for this church and it’s members. Burning Faith is a journey in search of a deeper spiritual life and can be an impetus for readers in search of their own deeper spiritual life.
