Overview:

This is simply a sweet book with a lovely inspiring story. Mira Dean and Gordon Covington knew each other slightly at school years ago. Gordon, now a missionary, needs a teacher for his mission school in Sourwood Kentucky. When he approaches Mira about the possibility of being that teacher, he feels the Lord leading him to also ask her to be his wife! You cam imagine the responses she has-ridiculous! impossible! I barely know you! But God’s ways are not ours and Mira feels God’s workings in her heart. Before you know it, Gordon and Mira have married and are on their way to Sourwood.

Readers are now privy to the blossoming of their relationship and the many wonderful and heartwarming characters that populate Sourwood Mountain. Oh, yes, there are some tragedies and sadness, even some not-so-heartwarming members of the community, but overall you will be as thrilled as Mira is with the “family” she has newly acquired!
