OVERVIEW

Joy, an eighty-five-year old widow, plans to drive her old RV from Chicago to her new apartment in Arizona in the dead of winter. But her much younger friend, Miranda, insists she cannot do it alone. Said RV is decked out like a huge Christmas decoration on wheels and Joy has a plan to deliver some holiday fun and gifts to several families along the way. Miranda doesn’t have any real plans – she is unemployed and facing foreclosure, so she agrees to this hare brained adventure.

Joy’s giving spirit and faith not only inspire her recipients along the way but make a huge difference in Miranda’s downward spiraling emotions. And for those that like a tidy ending with all the threads neatly tied together, The Christmas Joy Ride is just the thing. A light, sweet and uplifting holiday story.
