OVERVIEW

This book takes the reader through various scenarios showing a young girl not just who are her neighbors are (every single person as her mother tells in the beginning of the story) but also how she could show them her love. Mama suggests she notice the way others show love and off she goes. From helping others to giving money, helping older folks, fixing food and more, our young girl discovers ways she can show love to her neighbors, too.

The illustrations are simple and brightly colored, very engaging. And although there is no specific Biblical message other than the admonishment to love your neighbor, the book would be a great tool in helpful children understand and discuss just what this injunction to love your neighbor means.
