OVERVIEW

Danni Kemp is an easy-to-connect-with main character. Not sure if she really loves her boyfriend Robert, when he surprises her with a marriage proposal, she immediately accepts then spends time in anxiety over her decision. She never sees him, he is always working and that seems to come first with him but he is handsome, well-to-do, and showers her with gifts. But does he really love her? And does she love him?

Enter a homeless man who readers discover is undercover. When Caleb confronts Danni about her fiancĂ©’s deadly secret, who is she to believe? But Danni is a woman who wants to do the right thing and if convicting Robert is that, then she will assist in the investigation.
